Ok, so I'm drowning over here. After spending two weeks away from home (visiting my in-laws in Ohio and my sis-in-law in Wisconsin) I finally made it back home. Which would be great, but I opened the front and was barely able to breathe a sigh of relief before my "to do" list just about knocked me flat on my back. Frankly, I think "To Do" and "Nausea"have gotten together and are doing everything in their power to keep me from being even the slightest bit productive. And word on the street is that "Fatigue" has joined the group and is shaking things up a bit. I tell ya, it's a wonder I even get out of bed in the morning.
Anywho, my new term at school began this past Monday. Seeing as how I didn't get home until Wednesday evening, I'm just now getting my school schedule figured out and assignment due dates written on the calendar. This term I'll have the pleasure of expanding my knowledge of English, Technology & Innovation and Strategic Management.
In other news, I did have the ultrasound yesterday. Wednesday night I had a few wild dreams about walking in to the ultrasound only to find out that I had made a terrible mistake and that I wasn't really pregnant at all. But, in the actual ultrasound on Thursday, Hubby and I saw for the first time our new little baby. He/she couldn't have been any larger than a little kidney bean but you could see the heart just beating away. It's amazing! Heart rate was 123 bpm (which is good) and I'm measuring 6 weeks 3 days - which is a week less than we originally calculated. My first official doctor's appt will be Jan 22nd and I think it'll be the normal blood work and exam. So, thanks for you prayers everyone and please continue to keep us on your prayer list.
Hubby's job - well, no news yet. Still waiting on updates from the union and the company.
Let's see, now that I've updated you on everything, I'm sure you're waiting on something interesting to read. Well, my neighbor is also pregnant. Seriously, we're about the same amount of weeks pregnant. I know you're thinking - so what? Who cares? Well, my other neighbor (not the pregnant one, but the one who just got married about two years ago and waffles about whether she'll ever have a baby) she cares. In fact, she's refusing to drink the water just in case this whole pregnancy thing is contagious! (My Mom did too - but I'm thinking she's pretty much in the clear!)
Anyway, that about sums it up for ya! Don't forget to pop over to my other website and check out what's been going on. We're at 122 members.
And now for your viewing pleasure - the ultrasound . . .
